No oven, no problem! If you’re hosting a party soon and you don’t have an oven (or if it’s broken), here are some solution to your problem. Have fun in the kitchen with these desserts!
Take your ordinary jellos up a notch and fill them up with edible flowers! They not on taste yummy but look pretty and presentable as well.
This is cliche, but it taste AND looks good, what’s there not to love?! Bare in mind, this needs to be prepared at least 8 hours for it to chill and set.
Making the base: Crush digestive biscuits into fine pieces with a food processor and add melted butter to hold it together.

This is simple to make and perfect for all types of dinner party. Boil a pot of water with vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Once boiling, reduce it to medium-low heat and fill the pot with pears. Boil it for 15-20 minutes until tender and remove it from the pot to cool. Reheat the syrup when serving the pear or serve it with ice-cream if preferred!

Crush oreo cookies and toss it with melted butter. Press into a hollow baking tin and set it aside. Beat some cream cheese with peanut butter and beat it until it is smooth. Spread half of the mixture over the crust. With the remaining mixture, beat milk and pudding mix until it is smooth. Let it soften for 2 minutes and folding in whipped topping. Spread it over the second base and let is set in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
This is an easy-peasy one! Melt a bowl of chocolate in a pot of water with water gently simmering in a bigger pot below (double boiling). Stir until chocolate is melted. Half the bananas and insert a popsicle stick. Coat them in the melted chocolate and toppings of your choice be it hazelnuts, sprinkles, coconut flakes or crushed almonds!
Everyone’s all-time favourite and easy to make, fruit tart! You can easily buy the crust off the shelves in major supermarkets but if you’re all about making it from scratch, go ahead and crush digestive biscuits with melted butter! For the filling, beat greek yoghurt with lemon curd until you get a smooth consistency. In a separate bowl, beat cream with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form. Fold both mixtures together and give it an extra oomph by adding in lemon juice. Fill the mixture in the tart and refrigerate it. Garnish it with fruits of your choice before serving!
If you’re health conscious, you might want to consider making this simple dessert. Mix diced mango with lime zest and let it rest for 10minutes. Add a layer or ricotta cheese and then a layer of Cheerios or other cereal of your choice. Repeat the layering until the glass is filled and top it with honey if you wish!
